These boots were made for walking

Ok, when I said my very first silky OOTD was my favorite, I might have been lying. Today's outfit tops the first one by far. The reason being is that this is the type of outfit I may be wearing on the daily - for work, for play, and even on the weekends. I'm the type of person that needs to be dressed for the day, even if it's the weekend or if I'm dying sick, otherwise I won't have any motivation to do anything and start my day. Call me crazy, but I'm sure some of you do the same thing!

One of my favorite things to do is pair a mini skirt with thigh high boots. It makes me feel sexy (hate that word), but it is also modest enough to wear to work, especially with black tights. I love this outfit because it is so versatile - not only can you wear this to work, you can wear this on a date, going out with friends, and even when you're out and about shopping.

So, I'm one of those crazy people that wear dresses and skirts in the middle of winter. It's partly because I have to dress for work, but also because I just love to wear them! They're easy, always look great, and you can chuck them on without really thinking about it. This is one of my favorite skirts, bought at Urban Outfitters. Honestly, I love Urban for their skirts - they're the perfect amount of cute, edgy, and perhaps even sexy. Pair any of Urban's skirts with these boots and you have yourself an Audrey-classic.

I honestly get so many compliments with these boots. They're made of a super stretchy vegan suede material, are a perfect heel height (3.5" - I literally walk all day/night in these), and look super expensive. The best part is - they're super affordable! You can check out the link below to buy a pair yourself. They go with practically every outfit in my closet - they even look amazing on with skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt.

My style has definitely evolved over this past year. As with many other things in my life, I go through phases. Most of my style phases seem to last a short amount of time, but this style/outfit in particular is something I am looking to keep and evolve as I grow even more as a person/designer/blogger.

I had to pair this outfit with some gold jewelry. I'm a huge fan of gold, in fact about 95% of my jewelry is gold. They go amazingly with black - but I didn't need to tell you that ;)
