My Love For Winter Neutrals
Hello lovelies & happy December! Hope you are all doing fantastic & staying warm in this bitter cold.
Since day 1, I’ve been focusing a lot on my wardrobe & expressing myself on this blog through fashion. And since AUDRÉ was born out of my love for all things fashion, I felt that an outfit post was long overdue!
It’s natural for people to gear their wardrobe toward darker palettes when the leaves start falling off the trees, but as you know I’m always inclined to zig while everyone else is zagging. Instead of the boring black, navy, and shades of brown that we see so often in the winter time, why not go for light neutrals? It’s appropriately wintery and honestly looks good anytime of day or year.
I also always find that the mixing of neutrals, whether they’re grays, creams, taupes, warm, cool, etc, they always look good together - so it’s practically fail proof for the fashionably-lazy.
My favorite boots ever, called the Hiline Boots in Taupe from Stuart Weitzman, is currently on sale now at 50% off so head on over to Stuartweitzman.com NOW!!!! They’re honestly worth every penny, I promise you.
In addition, the bag I’ve paired this outfit with is the same Fendi Dotcom Click Shoulder bag I have in a lot of my OOTD’s. Lately, I’ve been using it nonstop for the past couple of months now. It’s just the perfect size for every day and doesn’t have screaming logos on it, which makes it super wearable and classy in my humble opinion.
I’m wearing my Theory Clairene Wool Coat in Gray with my neutral blanket scarf from Zara.
Underneath, I’m wearing an oatmeal colored knit turtleneck from Zara and a pair of my favorite white-washed high-rise jean leggings from Abercrombie & Fitch (Yes, I still love their denim - they’re so comfortable and high quality for such a good price).
